The 210HP D-code is the only 289 that was ONLY found in Mustangs and ONLY for the 64 1/2. All the others were used as a general Ford engine for various different models. So going by Ford's numbers the gain from a 2V to a 4V was 10 HP (200-210). By upping the compression ratio they got another 15 HP to 225 A C4 block, which shows up in a 1964 1/2 car (early production)and has a 5 bolt bellhousing. And a 1965 or 1966 car, depending on production date should be a C5AE-6015-E block with 6 bolt bellhousing. So although it's not original to the car, it is the K code block. If there nothing special about it (run of the mill V8 coupe), it's not worth alot given your description of the condition. Kinda depends on how generous the 6/10 body condition is. If it's extensive (and structural) body work, could be worth about 1-2 thousand dollars. Possibly a little more since it's a V8, and more if the rust isn't too bad
